It is becoming a theory that hydrogen should be produced locally and consumed locally, but this is because transporting hydrogen is costly. However, looking ahead to the hydrogen society of the future, it will be difficult for Japan to meet green hydrogen demand through local production alone. Taking into account the transportation costs at that time, we aim to develop a cost-competitive hydrogen supply device using ammonia as the hydrogen carrier. We also hope to contribute to a sustainable society by leveraging the advantages of both hydrogen and ammonia to lower the hurdles to hydrogen use.
