Description
FLASC is a start-up developing large-scale energy storage for offshore applications, addressing the mismatch between energy supply and demand to enhance offshore wind farm business cases. It is the first solution designed for co-location with fixed and floating offshore wind. A co-located FLASC system can boost offshore wind farm value by 10-30% through improved monetisation, with a payback period of 5-7 years. Protected by international patents (including Japan), FLASC technology has a DNV Statement of Feasibility and support from reputable European investors.
